We stayed at Sunset terrace for a 3 month lease. I found the office staff to be sweet and accommodating. Maintenance requests were taken care of quickly. And our overall experience was positive. The grounds were kept clean. Neighbors were (mostly) quiet at night. The pool area was clean and we used it frequently. My one “complaint” is that the buildings are old and leaky combined with small/old AC units. We found it difficult and expensive to keep our apartment cool. Most of the tenants at Sunset terrace kept their windows open for a cross breeze and didn’t seem bothered by the heat. We just like it a bit cooler indoors I guess. We got all but $180 of our deposit back. It was listed as an “end of contract fee”. I felt it was a reasonable amount to receive back.

Aloha, Sarah was absolutely amazing from the get! She followed up as needed, gave time and zero pressure and she provided clear accurate responses, and replied quickly even to the silliest of questions. She helped us find our next home and gets my five stars! We relocated from Denver, CO and took a big leap of faith to live in the Aloha state. Lahaina doesn’t disappoint. The location of this place is dynamite. I think it’s also wise to keep in mind that luxury can mean something a little different to every perspective. The property is great, the staff and maintenance crew are awesome, but it is apartment living in a dynamic housing market and so some of the tenants clearly don’t respect the property as much as others. Which is fine, because the property team do a damn good job keeping things looking good. We’re happy to be here and look forward to our new journey and would definitely recommend checking this place out. Mahalo!

Had issues with our previous property management back on the mainland. Decided to sell everything and move to Maui in less than 2 weeks. Danté made the transition and apartment finding fast and easy. I’m happy to be where I am today and thankful for Danté and the Sunset Terrace’s crew.

We had less than one week to move when we called Sunset Terrace. Danté sent us tons of pictures and videos which made our decision a real easy one. He helped us get through the paper work and into our apartment very quickly. We're settled in now and couldn't be happier! Thanks for all of the help. 🌞

This review is for Dante! I moved last minute with a week's notice and Dante helped me with all the logistics from making sure my furniture was moved into the apartment before arriving, internet set-up, and the apartment was turned over from the previous tenant in such a short time. Highly recommend working with Dante for all your needs at Sunset Terrace!

I had a last minute move from the mainland and was stressed and in a hurry to find somewhere. Dante made the process of moving so easy and smooth! Dante really goes out of his way to make all his residents feel at home! Mahalo! 🤙🏽

I have lived here for over a decade and have enjoyed every day here at Sunset Terrace! The staff is amazing! Bobbie the Office manager is just the BEST! They have over the years become more than landlords and office people, they have become family! Yes, Maui can be expensive but this place is worth every penny! The whole office staff, Bobbie, Jodie and Dante are always there to lend a hand or answer a question. I cant imagine ever wanting to leave this place! Like I said in the title, Its much more than an apartment is a home that comes with family!
