As a long term tenant let me just say that snowbirds and people that don't give a rat's @$$ continue to bring this place down. Rude, entitled, and self indulgent people are the ones that are being catered towards. Whether you're out of state or country, the knowledge that you're not going to be here for the long haul has had massive effects on the everyday person who resides at Sunset Terrace. Management routinely turns a blind eye to those short term residents offenses while citing the regulars for those same infractions. I will say the management has gone down hill even before last year's fires. The google reviews people that are positive are curated. The staff create reviews when the tenant moves out. It is literally as part of their job.
The community property manager only cares about signing new leases. Repairs and renovations are cheap, subpar, toxic materials from China that do not withstand daily use. Little care about the people who live here is ever a genuine concern. Overpriced,no amenities (except urine filled pool and a dog area riddled with waste and a beach which they canât take credit for). Gone are the days of real property management professionals.
