Amazing experience. Everyone here is so kind and it genuinely did feel like a close community. Youâll make friends here even if you werenât planning on doing so. Especially if you have a dog, Iâve met many of my friends here while out on dog walks.
Thereâs a âfreebies,â section in the laundromat where you or other people can give stuff away. If youâre ever in search of something no matter what it is, youâll likely find it in freebies. Itâs also useful for when youâre cleaning/moving out, just bring all the stuff you donât want there and itâll likely be gone within a few hours.
No bugs. Iâve heard some people(that donât live here) mention there might be a lot of bugs but I never once saw bugs in my apartment. They even have âquarterly annualâ pest control spraying so itâs hard to get bugs unless you keep a messy apartment.
Youâll definitely need to call maintenance throughout your time here considering some of the stuff isnât the best quality. Example, towel rack fell off my first day, closet knobs fell off, kitchen drawer fell off the hinges(idek how.) But the maintenance was quick in fixing all of these and I donât believe I got charged anything extra for stuff like that.
Overall a great place to live. Bakery right out front from 7am-2pm and a mexican foodtruck from 4pm-11pm. Like a million beaches within a 10 mile radius, some of the best snorkel spots are just down the road. Oh! Also, you can rent snorkel gear in front for just a couple dollars per day per set.
